Mayor Meléndez: Third phase of Operation Caracas Smile began in La Pastora

The mayor of the Libertador municipality, Carmen Meléndez, reported that the third phase of Operation Caracas Smile began from the parish of La Pastora, with special attention to the Seven Transformations and the participation of Popular Power.

In this regard, he specified that comprehensive assistance days were activated in the areas defined by the Seven Transformations, with the direct participation of the Community Councils.

He noted that the community presented the progress achieved in local projects, the first positive results and the proposals for a Concrete Agenda for Action.

The mayor indicated that the work will continue in La Pastora, a parish linked to the life of José Gregorio Hernández, with new days planned in coordination with the bodies of the People's Power.

Operation Caracas Smile is carried out in accordance with the guidelines of President Nicolás Maduro, aimed at strengthening communal self-government and direct assistance in the territories.
