Mayor of Guaicaipura and a technical team evaluate the edge fault in Los Barriles

The Mayor of the Bolivarian Municipality of Guaicaipura, Farith Fraija, carried out an institutional inspection of the severe undermining edge fault affecting the Los Barriales sector, a nerve stretch for access to the Guaremal community in the Guaicaipura municipality, in Miranda state.

In this regard, Mayor Fraija emphasized that progress is being made under the criteria of a single government to address the contingency in a lasting manner.

The event was attended on site by a technical delegation sent by the Ministry of People's Power for Transport, headed by its state director, José Maita, together with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and specialists in road infrastructure.

During the tour, the team of experts focused on gathering topographic information and evaluating terrain variables to design the definitive solution.

The authorities agreed that, once the studies have been completed and the technical design formalized by the specialists, the execution of the work will be carried out through an inter-institutional scheme coordinated between the Ministry of Transport, the Government of Miranda State and the Alcaldia.
