The mayor (in charge) of Maracaibo and leader of Primero Justicia Zulia, Adrián Romero Martínez publicly disassociated himself from the statement issued by his party, in which they do not know Constitutional President Nicolás Maduro Moros.

During an interview with A 8 Columnas, Romero expressed his disagreement with the content of the statement and revealed that “for a long time” he has had no contact with Juan Pablo Guanipa, one of the supposed leaders within the right-wing party.

The news was released by journalist Rafael Galicia, through his account on the social network X in which he reported on Romero's position regarding the Primero Justicia statement.

The mayor's adverse opinion of the official line of his party could have significant implications for his political career and for the dynamics of First Justice in the state of Zulia and denotes a clear internal division.

Once again, internal tensions within the ultra-right party are in evidence.

The City Council appointed Adrián Romero Martínez as the new mayor in charge of the city, following the arrest of Mayor Rafael Ramírez for corruption crimes.
