Mayor of New York described Trump's aggression against Venezuela as a violation of federal and international law

The mayor of New York of the United States, Zohran Mamdani, described as an “act of war” the aggression that the Donald Trump Administration against Venezuela early this Saturday morning.

“Unilaterally attacking a sovereign nation is a violation of federal and international law,” Mamdani wrote on his social networks.

He emphasized that the blatant search for regime change not only affects those who reside abroad, but also directly impacts New Yorkers, including tens of thousands of Venezuelans “who consider this city their home.”
