Meet the winners of the National History Award 2025-2026

The president of the National Center for Historical Studies (CNEH), Omar Hurtado Rayugsen, announced the winners of the National History Award for the 2025 and 2026 editions.
The researchers William Eduardo García Rivas, Hadelis Solangel Jiménez López and Jesús Alberto García received the award corresponding to the ninth edition of the year 2025, while the tenth edition of the year 2026 recognized the work of researchers Gladys María Arroyo, Ramón Vicente Chacón Vargas and Zully Marina Chacón Morales.
This recognition represents an initiative aimed at valuing the journey of those who contribute to researching, safeguarding and disseminating the history of the nation and its historical-cultural heritage, so the National History Award constitutes an initiative aimed at valuing the trajectory and work of those who contribute to researching, safeguarding and disseminating the history of the country and its historical and cultural heritage.
