Mérida is positioned as a favorite destination for the Carnival season

The state of Mérida is fully operational to receive national and international visitors during the Carnival holidays, as announced by the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, together with the governor of the state of Mérida, Arnaldo Sánchez.

“We are proud to inform the Venezuelan people that Mérida is positioning itself [...] as a destination of excellence for this season,” said Cabello.

From the Pico Espejo station of the Mukumbarí Cable Car System, the ministerial minister extended an invitation to seasonal workers to enjoy the highest and longest cable transport system in the world.

“We are open to welcome everyone who wants to come and see the state of Mérida and its attractions,” he said, stressing that the facilities have the guarantees to provide a safe and quality experience.

The Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism and its affiliated entities will carry out a comprehensive deployment at Tourist Information Points (PIT) throughout the national territory, which are intended to promote the entity.
