Mérida: More than 300 social care days were held in 2024

The Social Secretary of the Government of Mérida, Luz Rivera, reported that during 2024, more than 300 social days were held throughout the Andean entity.
Rivera added that the entity developed a strategic plan called “The Health Route” in which, thanks to the joint work with TROMERCA, patients were transferred from different territories to the Los Curos High Technology Center.
He also indicated that the days included sectors such as Older Adults, Women and militants “who deserve to be treated in different specialties.”
“By National Instructions, more than 53 Mission Bases were equipped, with the purpose of incorporating them into communal circuits and making positive progress in the empowerment of Popular Power,” the Government reported .
