After exercising his
right to vote, the sectoral vice-president of Social and
Territorial Socialism, Mervin Maldonado, said that international observers have witnessed
the presidential elections this Sunday, July 28, with gratitude, for
which he stressed that this is a historic day, in which the people express themselves in a participatory and leading way.
From the
Pedro Fonte high school, located in the parish of La Vega, he said he was pleased with
“the pleasant company of international observers who have been traveling through the different centers”, with
whom he shared. In addition, he applauded the actions
of the Venezuelan people throughout the country in this electoral process.
Maldonado
expressed his joy as a Venezuelan citizen when exercising his right to vote.
“I came to the Pedro Fonte High School in La Vega and it's very fast. Venezuelans
have a culture of democratic participation and an electoral culture, in the
last 25 years this is the 31st election, so we know the
system very well.”
He also took
