Mexican authorities deny children from Venezuela to participate in the Caribe Kids Series, citing administrative proceedings

The directors of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) and the Caribbean Confederation (CBPC) have not yet explained why the Mexican authorities denied them entry to the U12 selection that would attend the third edition of the Caribbean Kids Series.

According to known reports, there were unforeseen problems with immigration and visa documentation that prevented the boarding and transfer of the children's delegation to Mexican territory, after several months of training, of supreme effort to represent Venezuela in the Caribbean Series of Kids Baseball, Meridiano reports on its website.

It became known that the LVBP and the CBPC clarified that exhaustive steps were taken until the last minute, however, nothing turned out, there was no way to achieve the trip, after the Venezuelan peloteritos spent four days at an airport in the city of Bogotá waiting for the Mexican migratory authorities to grant the respective visas and when that requirement was finally achieved, at the last minute a counterorder arrived at the air terminal in the Colombian capital in which they required another permit.

All the members of the delegation were surprised: phone calls, emails, but nothing: the Mexican authorities left out the Venezuelan ninth in an unprecedented way, who lost the great opportunity to show their advances and the children were frustrated by not being able to defend the country's colors in such an important event.

The Creole delegation, made up of 18 players and the coaching staff, was disembarked a few minutes after the plane took off due to the requirement of an entry letter from the corresponding migratory agencies, something totally unheard of.

It was not possible to obtain the requested document within the operating margin and this forced participation to be suspended.
