Mexican independent artists hold cultural day in support of Venezuela

Art and culture stand up as tools of international protest and brotherhood in the center of Mexico City to demand the immediate release of the constitutional president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and the first female combatant, Cilia Flores.

In a Telesur report, it highlights that independent artists concentrated on the Plaza Palestina Libre, to hold the cultural day in support of Venezuela and against the interventionist actions of North American imperialism.

The activists decided to offer a space in solidarity with Venezuela, with the creation of images that represent cultural icons of Latin America, with songs and protests, among other activities.
