Mexican poet: First International Poetry Book Fair promotes the integration of Peoples

The Mexican poet Iván Cruz Osorio highlighted that the First International Poetry Book Fair that takes place in Venezuela is an unprecedented event that promotes the integration and cultural exchange of Peoples.

“We are talking and we are ending that mental, physical and political blockade that imperialism wants to impose on us and that in Mexico we know a lot about it,” said Cruz Osorio from the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies Rómulo Gallegos (CELARG).

In this regard, Cruz pointed out that this activity has allowed interaction with many poets and links have been made to develop poetry books between Venezuela, Mexico and other countries.

Under the motto: A world of poetry in one place! , this Thursday, this International Expoesia Fair 2024 was held, with the participation of more than 30 publishers from Latin America.

The agenda of the Fair includes book presentations, workshops and conferences on writing and publishing poetry until November 17.
