Mexican visitors recognize Venezuela's economic recovery

Venezuela is currently undergoing an important process of productive and economic recovery thanks to the policies that President Nicolás Maduro has implemented based on it. This was stated by the member of the Popular Socialist Party of Mexico and coordinator of the Mexican Solidarity Group with Venezuela, Irma Sofía Navas, who highlighted how the country has experienced an uptick in issues such as supply, between 2021 and 2024.

“Venezuela is recovering day by day. We came for the elections in 2012 where there was a Venezuela with very strong situations such as supply. I came now in 2024 also for the elections and I can say that President Nicolás Maduro has carried out a very strong restructuring, supported by self-management, communal powers. Venezuela got used to producing. Now Venezuela is growing day by day,” he said.

In the same way, Navas highlighted that, currently, our country is one of the nations in Latin America that has experienced the highest growth.

On the other hand, during his visit to our country as part of the international guests who participated in the global anti-fascist festival for a new world, he drew attention to a media campaign that the extreme right maintains against our country.

“That campaign, the more than 2,000 guests who are here, are fighting it. We know that fascism is trying to arrive, but here in Venezuela everything is quiet. This is a campaign that is aimed abroad, it is a media campaign that every person who visits this country is called to fight it from their trenches by telling the truth,” he emphasized.

On the other hand, this Mexican visitor assured that the Venezuelan people are a "happy people “, despite all the attacks.

“The people of Venezuela are happy, they are happy because that's why they voted. He voted for the security, peace and economic strengthening that only Nicolás Maduro can give him,” he stressed.
