This Thursday, it was announced that two members of the Immediate Reaction Tactical Group (Grupo Centauro), belonging to the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) of Guerrero, Mexico, allegedly involved in the murder of Ayotzinapa Rural School student, Yanqui Kothan Gómez, were handed over by state authorities to the delegation of the Attorney General's Office (FGR).
According to a statement, the SSP said that “with the objective of continuing to collaborate in the investigation of the events that occurred on March 7, at 7:25pm this Wednesday, two state agents involved in the events were handed over to the FGR.”
It was indicated that the detainees were informed of their rights and were placed at the disposal of FGR ministerial agents in compliance with an arrest warrant.
