Michelo warned about risks of child exploitation through digital platforms

During his speech on the show Sin Truco Ni Maña, Argentinian influencer Diego Omar Suárez, known as Michelo, warned about pedophilia networks that operate through content aimed at minors on digital platforms.

Suárez said that some channels focused on video games and children's content would be used to contact minors in order to capture them through deception and obtain images that could lead to trafficking networks.

“Even children's games may be being used by covert paedophilia networks. The cell phone is a door to the world, with all that that implies. It's key for parents to talk to their children, listen to them, guide them,” he said.

The deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Tania Díaz, supported the complaint and stressed the importance of family support in a digital environment that, in addition to these dangers, also promotes harmful cultural patterns such as hate, isolation and aesthetic pressure.

Díaz called on mothers, fathers and caregivers to stay alert, promote dialogue and promote safe environments in the face of risks present both in networks and in other media.
