During the 8th Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, highlighted peace as a supreme right for the life of peoples.
In this regard, the president of the Caribbean nation also stated the importance of “defending peace also implies the strongest rejection of unilateral coercive measures and blockades imposed by powerful countries, which intend to act as universal judges to isolate and subdue sovereign States.”
