This Wednesday, Argentina's state workers sector began a day of protest to repudiate the mass dismissals ordered by President Javier Milei, which left 11,000 people unemployed.

The number may increase abruptly in the coming weeks, because the list of contracts under review amounts to 70,000 and is part of the adjustment promised by the president.

The RT news portal specified that members of the Association of State Workers (ATE) intended to enter government offices and take them peacefully, but the headquarters of Secretariats and Ministries woke up guarded by security forces that prevented the passage of the demonstrators.
