Milei will be investigated by US justice after using the dollar in a cryptocurrency scam

The far-right president of Argentina, Javier Milei, will be investigated by the justice of the United States (USA) for his involvement in the cryptocurrency scam with the $LIBRA token.

Many U.S. citizens invested in memecoin, which caused losses of between 80 and 100 million dollars, and Milei played a key role in promoting the currency on her account on the social network X, which attracted thousands of buyers before the collapse of $LIBRA.

The president kept a fixed post for more than seven hours, even after learning about the fraudulent nature of the asset.

Legal and financial sources from the United States and Argentina confirmed, to the Argentine website El Destape, that the case could move forward in both countries, and, if the courts find him guilty, any conviction will be suspended until his term ends or he faces political trial.
