MINAGUAS crews dealt with an incident in the main pipeline on Avenida El Ejercito de Catia La Mar

The Minister of Water Care, Carlos Mast, reported that crews attended to an incident in the 36-inch diameter main pipeline located on El Ejercito Avenue in Catia La Mar, La Guaira state.

The personnel of the Hydrological Department of the Capital Region (HIDROCAPITAL) mobilized to the site to carry out the repair work for the fault, which caused the loss of thousands of liters of water.

Mast explained that the teams place a belt and proceed to weld the fissure in the pipe to restore service in the shortest possible time to communities of Maiquetía, Catia La Mar and Carlos Soublette.

The ministry is implementing a repair plan for the distribution network pipes, affected by the double earthquake of June 24.
