Minaguas reactivated the collection system of the Arara water treatment plant in Delta Amacuro

The Ministry of the People's Power for Water Care (Minaguas) reactivated the collection system of the Arara water treatment plant, in Delta Amacuro state, after completing comprehensive electromechanical maintenance.

The Multidisciplinary Water Team put into operation a 125 HP pumping equipment in the Manuel Piar parish, an action that allowed the supply of drinking water to be restored to more than 2,500 families in the Casacoima municipality that depend on this infrastructure.

The work on the reservoir taken from the Arara lagoon included the replacement of bearings and racks, in addition to the installation of graffiti cabins. The technical staff also performed the mechanical reconstruction of specific parts of the pump shaft to ensure the operability of the motor.
