The Ministry of the People's Power for Water Care rehabilitated the Insolac and Number 4 drinking water wells in the south of Lake Maracaibo to provide service to more than 3,500 families in the Santa Bárbara parishes, Colón y Encontrados municipality, Catatumbo municipality, in the state of Zulia.
The sectors directly favored by the reactivation of the wells are La Maroma, La Luisa, Los Robles, Sierra Maestra and Villa la Gloria, central town, Virgen del Carmen 1 and 2, La Cruz, Los Caobos and the San José neighborhood, details a press release.
According to the HIDROLAGO press report, the multidisciplinary team carried out a series of technical maneuvers that included the installation of two electrosubmersible equipment of 10 and 60 HP, the washing and verification of the wells. In addition, the electrical components of the control board were replaced, adding new protections to ensure the durability of the equipment.
