MINCULTURA will pay tribute to Luis Alberto Lamata through a film series in Caracas

From Monday, August 25 to Sunday, August 31, the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture (MINCULTURA), through the National Cinemateca Foundation, the National Autonomous Center for Cinematography, Amazonia Films and the Film Village, will pay a well-deserved posthumous tribute to Venezuelan filmmaker Luis Alberto Lamata.
This tribute will be held in the Cinemateca room of the Museum of Fine Arts (MBA), through a series of films to honor his legacy and work. The series, entitled “Homenaje a Luis Alberto Lamata”, seeks to offer a well-deserved tribute to those who were director, screenwriter and producer, who won the National Culture Award, mention Cinema.
Luis Alberto Lamata, screenwriter, director and producer of Venezuelan television and film, died this Sunday, August 24 in Caracas at the age of 65, the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, reported through social networks.
