The Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism (MINEC) continues with restoration work in La Llovizna Park, located in the Caroní municipality, in the state of Bolívar.

At the site, the restoration of malocas, lighting, demarcation, path cleaning and irrigation system are carried out, among other tasks, according to a MINEC press release.

The sole authority of Environment of Bolivar and director of the Ecosocialist Territorial Unit (UTEC), Jessiel Gascón, reported that on instructions from Governor Yulisbeth García and the head of MINEC, Alfred Nazaret Ñáñez, work is being carried out to transform the site for the well-being of tourists and visitors.

He indicated that the restoration of the first tourist maloca, which serves as a viewpoint and is one of the favorite places for families, has been completed.

“We are already working on the second one, to achieve comprehensive improvements to this park to provide a wonderful natural space to those who visit us daily,” said Gascón.

The director of UTEC Bolívar stressed that a project will soon begin to illuminate the waterfall with the help of the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC), and the private company, in addition to the irrigation system, which is vital for the maintenance of the park.

He also reported that, simultaneously, work is being carried out in the Cachamay Park, also in the Caroní municipality, where access is being recovered and vital areas have been cleared to guarantee spaces for the family.
