As part of the efforts of the Bolivarian Government to revive the national productive apparatus, the Socialist Cement Corporation (CSC) consolidated a new milestone with an export of more than 15,000 tons of cement to international markets, according to a press release published on the website of the Ministry of Popular Power for Industries and National Production (MPPIP).

It highlights that this operation reinforces the sustained progress of the Venezuelan cement industry, which not only meets domestic demand, but also resumes its role as a generator of foreign exchange for the country.

From the Port of Pertigalete, in the state of Anzoátegui, the Minister of Popular Power for Industries and National Production, Alex Saab, oversaw the export loading process, stressing that it is the result of the commitment and joint effort of workers in the sector.

“In the last three months, we have managed to increase cement production, which allows us to guarantee domestic supply and to resume exports in a progressive and sustainable way,” he said.

This productive growth responds to the application of a comprehensive strategic plan focused on optimizing processes and strengthening the logistics chain, ensuring greater efficiency and quality at every stage of production and distribution.

The Port of Pertigalete has positioned itself as a fundamental axis for the reactivation of Venezuelan industrial foreign trade, thanks to recent improvements in its infrastructure that allow cargo operations under strict international safety and quality standards.

Saab stressed that “we continue to strengthen the cement sector as a strategic source for foreign exchange income and the country's projection in the global market. This achievement reflects the advancement of the national productive model promoted by President Nicolás Maduro, focused on sustainable growth and the consolidation of new opportunities for the Venezuelan economy.”
