Minister Ángel Prado: With the Popular Consultation, the People win and rule!

This Sunday, April 27, the Minister of Popular Power for the Communes, Ángel Prado, emphasized that a massive participation of the People is expected in this Second National Popular Consultation, in which they will have the opportunity to vote for projects in their communities.

“It's going to give us an excellent result, we're going to have a very positive balance at the end of the afternoon with the projects that are going to be prioritized (...) So with the Popular Consultation the People win, the People rule; and we're doing things very well, we can see it in each Commune,” he said from Community Radio Negro Primero.

He pointed out that many of the projects presented in this Second Popular Consultation are also part of the Plan of the 7 Transformations. At the same time, he stressed that the People have greater confidence and credibility in this process because today they celebrate the works carried out and that are being carried out in their communities.

He also emphasized that the National Popular Consultation has had a great impact at the national level due to the organization and all the actions that have been generated in the communities to solve their own problems.

“We will fulfill to Commander (Hugo) Chávez that dream of consolidating a system of Popular Government in our country, where the People really are the government,” he said and recalled the call made by President Nicolás Maduro for governors and mayors to join in the consolidation of the projects elected in the consultations.
