Minister Cabello: Conspiracy plan to overthrow the Government is linked to electrical sabotage

The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that the conspiracy plan discovered to overthrow the Bolivarian Government is related to attacks and electrical sabotage of the country's electricity system and oil headquarters.

This was stated, at noon this Saturday, November 24, in the middle of a press conference in which he said that “it is important for our people to know and be clear that behind this plan is the terrorist opposition, there is Mrs. María Corina Machado and the detainees speak clearly of their permanent contact with Iván Simonovis, who was responsible for giving them guidance. The detainees talk about the delivery of 20 million euros for the payment of operations at the hands of José Rincón”.

Cabello said that “the detainees say that, I just repeat it. And if Simonovis is here, his friend Erick Prince must be involved. In addition, Simonovis himself has said that behind all these actions is Mrs. María Corina Machado”.

The senior official asserted that “if they don't rest, we're not going to rest either. Terrorists are not going to be able to do it, it will be peace that will triumph.”
