Minister Cabello decorated security personnel who participated in Operation Black First

This tribute highlighted the dedication and loyalty of these patriots in defense of national sovereignty

In recognition of the courage and commitment demonstrated during Operation Black First, the Bolivarian Government has awarded the José María España El Emancipador Order in its first class to security personnel who participated in the events of May 3, 2020 in the defeat of Operation Gideon in its attempted mercenary invasion.

The award was attended by senior military and police authorities, the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, who highlighted the importance of this operation in preserving the country's security.

This tribute highlighted the dedication and loyalty of these patriots in defense of national sovereignty. Among the honorees are:

- M/G Elio Ramón Estrada Paredes, General Commander of the Bolivarian National Guard.
- G/B Rubén Darío Santiago Servigna, General Commander of the CPNB.
- Chief Commissioner (PNB) Miguel Domínguez, Second Commander of the CPNB and Director of the Directorate of Strategic and Tactical Actions (DAET).
- Chief Inspector Fray Jesús García Pérez, Head of the Special Tactical Operations Unit (UOTE) of the CPNB.
- Chief Inspector Franklin Adolfo Bolívar Vera, Second Commander of the UOTE of the CPNB.
- Miliciano Eleazar Romero Romero, member of the Peasant Militia.

During the event, Cabello highlighted the commitment of these troops to the defense of the homeland and civic-military union as fundamental pillars to guarantee peace and stability in Venezuela. In addition, the oath to serve the nation with honor and patriotism was reiterated.

With this distinction, the Bolivarian Government ratifies its recognition of those who, with weapons in hand, have demonstrated their love and commitment to Venezuela, contributing to the victory of the People and the defense of their sovereignty.
