The
sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón,
revealed this Friday the story of a Venezuelan migrant family that was
divided into different detention centers in the United States (USA), in the midst
of the criminal immigration policies of the Donald Trump administration.
“Early on, a 17-year-old girl comes. That's a case to
mention. He went with his father, his mother, they arrested his mother, they sent her to
a center. They arrested his father, sent him to another center. She was 16 years old
when she was captured, when she was kidnapped and at that age she was sent to an adult
center,” said Cabello from Simón
Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, after the arrival of flight number 18 of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria this year.
She noted that they also separated her from her other two brothers. “
Her mother already came on the first flight and she asked to come to Venezuela and to be
sent with her two little brothers. They said yes, and what happened? They put her
alone on the plane. We received her earlier today and her two little brothers are
still there in the United States,” said the Minister for
Internal Relations, Justice and Peace.
“It's the United States government separating and
hurting the Venezuelan family. Now, who is responsible for that? Those
who have asked for sanctions, those who have called for a blockade and we hold Mrs. María Machado responsible for anything that happens to
Venezuelan children or children who are kidnapped in the United States,” he emphasized
