This Saturday, December 23, the sectoral vice-president for Policy, Public Safety and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, warned that cars that have high lumens LED headlights will be subject to sanctions because they constitute an action that endangers other motorists.

“Last night we came down this avenue and two cars were coming with LED lights; they are these lights that dazzle anyone, and that should not be used in the city, it should not be used on roads because it endangers Venezuelans and Venezuelans,” he said during a night tour of the municipality of Chacao, in Miranda state.

In this regard, he instructed police and traffic agencies to immediately arrest those who have this type of lighting in their cars.

“Drivers who carry that from now on who assume their responsibility, and traffic surveillance agencies that do their duty, whoever carries that must be stopped immediately, why? Because they dazzle entire families who get off the road and can cause a tragedy,” he emphasized.
