Minister Cabello: Spain's CNI participated in organizing a terrorist attack against Venezuela

The Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, took the floor this Tuesday afternoon, September 17, in the chamber of the National Assembly (AN) to explain the frustrated terrorist plan that was presented to the country last weekend.

The head of the ministerial portfolio specified that in the course of the investigations, they interviewed a subject who pointed out that Spain's National Intelligence Center (CNI) was aware of all the situation that was brewing against Venezuela.

“One person stated the existence of an operation prepared from Europe by an intelligence agency that was recruiting personnel to bring him to Venezuela. That person stated that they had touched (contacted) him and had given him the plan but that he was not going to execute it. The interviewee pointed out the existence of people in Venezuela who were operating and working, all under the eyes of the Spanish organization,” he explained.

Minister Cabello said that the National Intelligence Center depends on that country's defense ministry, but in reality “the heads of the CNI are the CIA, the rest is a façade, a mask.”
