Minister Cabello thanked the Government of Honduras for its support for the repatriation of Venezuelans

“Our flagship aircraft of the airline of all Venezuelans CONVIASA has landed at Maiquetía International Airport, it comes from Honduras and its cargo carries 177 Venezuelans who were at the US military base in Guantánamo and from here we want to thank the government of Honduras for the effort they have made to serve as an intermediate point for those Venezuelans to return to our country.”
This is how the Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Captain Diosdado Cabello, narrated the arrival of the aircraft that brought back to the country a group of 177 Venezuelans who were being held by the US Government in Guantánamo.
The official note from Tegucigalpa stated that the process “is part of a positive cooperation effort between the Governments of Honduras, the United States of America and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.”
