The Sectorial Vice President for Policy, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, this Monday, December 22, highlighted the attention in all areas that officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) receive for their well-being and quality of life.
In this regard, he specified that it is not only a matter of good quality uniforms and boots, but also in terms of health, in response to which he recalled that recently the Bolivarian Government provided a first-rate health center for all police officers and their families.
“We already have a maternity hospital and a hospital in Caracas, opened in El Helicoide,” he said.
At this point, Cabello stressed that the campaign of the extremist right “to speak gamelote as they always do, is to try to demonize spaces. To turn that into their hell, in their own words, but no, those are spaces of humanity.”
“Where is there more humanity than where a woman stops? There is no other place,” he said in Catia La Mar in the state of La Guaira, during the inauguration of the Police Coordination Center of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) in this entity.
Cabello pointed out that in Caracas there are four spaces for health care, and also in the states of Anzoátegui, Monagas, Carabobo, “soon we will have Trujillo ready to serve officials.”
“We started a campaign to operate on the eyes, cataracts for retired police officers. It's a beautiful day, because it's people who come in who barely see and come out illuminated by everything they see,” he said.
He said that it is a matter of humanizing the police function, since “if we demand that they should not kill each other and treat the people well, we have to support our officials.”
