Minister Ceballos Ichaso asked the CICPC to redouble its efforts to combat human trafficking in Sucre

The Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, urged officials of the Criminal and Criminal Scientific Investigations Corps (CICPC) deployed in Sucre state to intensify efforts to combat drug trafficking and human trafficking in the entity.

During a meeting with officials of this police force, the also sectoral vice-president of security indicated that in order to meet the aforementioned goal, it is necessary to work in an integrated manner with other State security bodies.

“Unscrupulous people cannot be allowed to enrich themselves at the cost of destroying human dignity through human trafficking,” Ceballos said.

In addition, according to account X of the interior portfolio, Ceballos Ichaso highlighted the importance of maintaining, in Sucre, river and maritime surveillance to combat drug trafficking.

“Our policy is the Great Quadrants of Peace Mission, we have to adapt to its strategic lines and place ourselves in the current reality of structured organized crime groups,” he emphasized.
