Minister Ceballos: The number of fatal road accidents in traffic decreased at the beginning of 2024

During a meeting of the Ministerial Security Council, the Sectorial Vice President for Citizen Security and Peace, AJ. Remigio Ceballos Ichaso announced that, according to figures provided by the Venezuelan Observatory for Public Safety, that so far in 2024, the rate of fatal road accidents in traffic has fallen by 22.4%.

He also explained that in terms of the percentage of the general crime incidence, it was possible to reduce by 23.4%, according to a press release published by the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace.

Ceballos also reviewed with his work team the actions carried out within the framework of the Great Quadrants of Peace Mission; which is the public policy of citizen security implemented by the Bolivarian Government to guarantee the protection of the Venezuelan people.

“Under the doctrine of the Great Mission Quadrants of Peace, we are determined to continue building a prosperous and secure Homeland,” said the Chief Admiral, who also evaluated policies to prevent and combat organized crime.
