Minister Colmenares at the Anti-Fascist Youth Congress: Today more than ever we must be united!

During the installation of the World Congress of Anti-Fascist Youth and Students, this Friday, the Minister of Popular Power for Youth, Grecia Colmenares, said that the more than 1 thousand delegates participating in this meeting will build a concrete agenda “aimed at the defeat of world fascism”.

From the La Carlota Convention Center, in Caracas, Colmenares stated that “the young people gathered here today have the same struggles, we have the same passion for life, for peace, we cry out for justice and we are united and united precisely because we will seek the strategies that are necessary to defeat this scourge, the common enemy that humanity has, which is called fascism”.

He indicated that the Congress is being visited by 500 international delegates, from 72 countries, “with the intention of continuing to strengthen what was implemented, founded, installed in the month of September in Venezuela, as the epicenter of the fight against fascism, which was the network of the entire Anti-Fascist People, against any form of violence, of hate.”

The head of Youth stressed that international and national delegations are in Caracas to discuss and build together the defense of humanity, “because today more than ever we must be united, today more than ever we are fully aware that we must defend our countries, the sovereignty of our homelands, we must go to the defense of Mother Earth (...) it is the defense of life itself because today we defend the right to life, the right to humanity, the right to peace, the right to self-determination of peoples,” he said.
