Minister Diosdado Cabello highlights that in Zulia, Colombian displaced persons continue to be treated

The Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, in favor of the operational training of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), led the act of deploying the Bolivarian Shield Military Exercises 2025, from the border state of Zulia.

“We are under deployment ordered by you, for all military-police forces and our people, for this Bolivarian Shield for Peace and Democracy exercise, the first of this year,” Cabello reported from Relámpag Airport or Catatumbo Airport.

With military maneuvers that demonstrate the military strength of the Nation, the also Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace led an exercise in which subversive material was captured from entering the national territory.

He also confirmed that these maneuvers are being carried out in a place that has become nerve center, due to the armed conflict in Colombia and the displaced persons fleeing violence from that country to Venezuelan territory.
