Minister Garcés: We evaluated joint cooperation with chambers of the private infrastructure sector

The president of the Presidential Commission to Evaluate the Habitability of Housing and Infrastructure, Francisco Garcés, reported that this Friday, July 21, he held a productive meeting with different chambers of the private sector linked to infrastructure, as well as various government entities in order to evaluate the different actions to strengthen the framework of work and joint cooperation after the double earthquake of last June 24.

In this context, he stated that these plans will be carried out in accordance with “guidelines of transparency, objectivity and professionalism”, in order to determine the causes of the double earthquake and continue to move forward to the next phases of work.

In this regard, he called on all the institutions present to join the Technical Committee of Professionals, which, from the Committee on Habitability, is building new lines of action.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Venezuelan Chamber of Construction; the National Academy of Engineering and Habitat: the College of Architects of Venezuela; the Federation of Chambers and Associations of Commerce and Production of Venezuela (Fedecamaras) and the Fund for Standardization and Certification of Quality in Venezuela (Fondonorma), who presented proposals and projects to join the task of recovering and rebuilding the affected infrastructure.
