This Tuesday, Minister Coromoto Godoy participated in the installation of the forum: “Venezuela-China: New Business Opportunities”, organized by FEDECÁMARAS and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Venezuela.

In her speech, the head of Foreign Trade said that the activity is a good sign of the Venezuelan private sector, which is taking initiatives to develop economic ties with the main and largest market in the world and the locomotive of the BRICS.

He pointed out that the bilateral economic relationship between Venezuela and China has steadily strengthened since the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution and this has had its direct expression in non-oil trade: starting in 2019, China has become the main destination market for Venezuelan non-oil exports.

China is already the world's leading economic power and promotes a vision of a new world, respectful of International Law, sovereign economic development and peace, highlighting the leadership of Presidents Nicolás Maduro and Xi Jinping in signing the Strategic Alliance “At every test and at all times”.

For his part, Ambassador Lan Hu guaranteed that China will continue to support the long-term sustainable development of Venezuela, overcoming all the limitations of sanctions and blockades. “China's doors will be increasingly open,” he said.

The minister reiterated her solid efforts, in constant dialogue with the national productive sector, to develop the economy in a sovereign manner, replace imports, strengthen and modernize the productive apparatus, and export quality non-oil goods and services.
