Minister Jiménez: Public industry in the pharmaceutical sector registers a 180% increase in its production

On the night of this Tuesday, December 23, the sectoral vice-president of Ecosocialism, Health, Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, informed the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, that the production chains associated with the public pharmaceutical sector show a growth of 180% in their production in 2025.
He also indicated that in the case of private industry there was an increase of 26.70%, and as for natural laboratories, they are at a 24% increase compared to 2024.
He explained that exports were maintained by more than 2.8 billion units, referring to a number of 108 drugs that are being exported to Venezuela, particularly the Caribbean region.
