Minister Jiménez: Special Teacher Training Plan transforms the country's education system

The Special Teacher Training Plan 2024-2025, which began this Monday, September 16 in the country, which consists of six vertices aimed at the areas of science, history, geography, reading and writing and school management, has as its central objective, to transform the education system.
In this regard, the sectoral vice-president of Science, Technology, Education and Health, Gabriela Jiménez, led this Wednesday, September 18, the cycle of forums “Natural sciences as integrators of knowledge”, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Popular Power for Education, in Caracas.
In a review published by Venezolana de Televisión, it indicates that educators, school directors, and other educational professionals in Venezuela participated in this activity. “The first home run of specialist teachers and teachers, we are going to work with science and mathematics, we are going to dedicate ourselves to making sure that our children learn to read and understand reading,” he said.
He emphasized that Venezuela, in the Latin American and Caribbean context, has an important historical and geopolitical heritage in the region. “We are the center and will be, for many years, of the world's energy geopolitics because it is the birthplace of El Libertador Simón Bolívar. Nobody is going to change that,” he said.
When referring to identity, he specified that we must continue with the impetus of science to understand reality. “We do science to understand what we are facing, those challenges and also for love,” he said.
On the other hand, Jiménez recalled that after a meeting with education authorities from Nicaragua and Honduras, they discussed successful models and failures, with the objective of improving indicators in education in Latin America and the Caribbean.
