Minister León Heredia: Peasant sector elects 75 state spokespersons

A total of 75 state peasant spokespersons with their respective alternates who will participate in the sector's national council, will be elected this Sunday throughout the country.
The information was provided by the Minister of Popular Power for Agriculture, Julio León Heredia, who added that the elections began at 10 in the morning of this day in each of the states. “Today, representatives are elected at the state level, last week it was held at the municipal level and September 6, 2025 was the grassroots election where nearly a million peasants participated,” he said.
Minister León Heredia added that this is a second-degree election. He explained that last week the elected spokespersons of September 6, 2025 participated and elected the municipal ones and today these municipal spokespersons elect the state ones.
He added that it is a “process developed with fraternity, joy and order. It is a great party that strengthens the organization and elements of deep awareness to understand the great challenge that lies ahead, such as the rescue of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and the first female combatant, Cilia Flores.”

highlighted the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to work hand in hand
with the peasant sector, providing proposals and funding to
strengthen its development throughout the national territory.
He announced
that all these activities carried out in this area will be for the
execution of a popular consultation that will be carried out in the country to
improve the production of items in this area
