A comprehensive inspection of the Yaracuy Cement Plant, with the objective of verifying the full operability of the machinery and production processes, was carried out by the Minister of the People's Power for Industries and National Trade (MPPICN), Luis Antonio Villegas, together with the governor of the state of Yaracuy, Leonardo Intoci.
This plant has state-of-the-art technology, created with State investment, is in the completion phase, and will produce 600 tons of cement, consolidating the efforts of the Bolivarian Government to strengthen heavy industry and guarantee the necessary inputs for the development of the national infrastructure.
The initiative is part of the guidelines given by the constitutional president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and led by the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez for the economic growth of the nation.
Despite the unilateral coercive measures and the economic war, this plant will have an operating capacity of 14,200 bags per day, and its start-up will generate more than 200 direct jobs that will boost the regional economy.
The Ministry of People's Power of Industries and National Commerce, in its commitment to the Plan for Recovery, Growth and Economic Prosperity, strengthens the national industry and moves forward with firm steps towards technological and productive independence.
