Minister Márquez: Modernization of the Thermoelectric Plant in Carabobo is progressing to strengthen the SEN

With the purpose of increasing the capacity and efficiency of the electricity service, the Minister of People's Power for Electric Energy, Jorge Márquez, carried out an inspection of the Central Plant Thermoelectric Power Plant, located in Puerto Cabello in the state of Carabobo, to verify the progress made in the modernization works.

During the visit, he noted the advances in maintenance operations in the operational and technical areas, as he toured the machine yards with the working class, to whom he listened to and answered proposals to optimize processes.

In addition, Márquez was accompanied by the president of the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC), José Luis Betancourt, with whom he also supervised the rehabilitation work of the administrative headquarters of Planta Centro, as part of the modernization of this strategic infrastructure of the National Electric System (SEN).

Later, the minister moved to the headquarters of Valle Seco, where he inspected the administrative areas and the Comprehensive User Service Center (CIAU) and verified the operability of the spaces intended for citizen care.

The visit is part of the SEN National Plan for Inspections and Comprehensive Maintenance, aimed at strengthening efficiency and ensuring reliable electricity service for the benefit of the Venezuelan people.
