Minister Márquez presented Telecommunications Engine strategies to boost investments

This Thursday, April 10, the Bolivarian Government presented the lines of work of the Strategic Plan for the Telecommunications Engine, number 13 of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda, which focuses on developing the telecommunications sector and new technologies.

The presentation was given by the Minister of Popular Power for Electric Energy and head of the Telecommunications Engine and New Technologies, Jorge Márquez, who at a press conference at the Poliedro de Caracas, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), highlighted the exponential growth of the sector in recent years.

He noted that this plan includes key actions such as deploying infrastructure, promoting innovation, boosting industry, attracting national and international investment and parameterizing the sector.

“All this progress is due to State policies that, under the direction of President Nicolás Maduro, we have managed to consolidate with professionalism and strength, overcoming the obstacles imposed,” he said.

Márquez also stressed that the year 2025 will be crucial for the development of the sector and emphasized the importance of companies growing, generating employment and contributing to the country's economic strengthening.

“These goals are part of the roadmap designed to ensure sustained and strategic growth,” he stressed.
