Through his official account on the social network Instagram, the Minister of Popular Power for Water Care, Carlos Mast, reported on the deployment of a multidisciplinary team in the communities of Arrecife and Taguao, with the objective of carrying out major repairs to the entity's water system.
In his statements, the holder of the Water portfolio detailed the complexity of the work being carried out in the area. “We came to the community of Arrecife and Taguao in La Guaira. Here we already have a multidisciplinary team available doing hard work to repair pipes of 30, 36 and 52 inches in diameter,” said the Minister.
Mast emphasized the social impact of this action, pointing out that the successful completion of these maneuvers will make it possible to recover the vital supply for a significant part of the population. “This work will restore the drinking water service of some 220,000 Guairian residents,” he said.
The tasks, which require technical precision due to the large diameter of the pipes, are part of the recovery and stabilization plans of the service promoted by the Bolivarian Government. This deployment seeks to provide an immediate response to communities affected by earthquakes and to ensure the equitable distribution of water resources in the region.
