Minister of Defense: Today the FANB is more prepared and moralized

The Minister of Popular Power for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, with regard to the start of the Bolivarian Shield Exercises 2025, highlighted their optimization after 10 years of implementation.

“We have advanced, we have optimized, we have also learned; these Bolivarian Shield Exercises have left a real lesson for us as the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) and it has been a perfect evolution in Revolution,” he said.

He also said that the FANB “today is much more cohesive, much more prepared and much more moralized; the morale of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces today is impressive.”

López reiterated the commitment of the FANB to the defense of peace and the sovereignty of Venezuela, while explaining that peace requires action, because it is not “a static concept, it is a concept that is in perfect motion, it is not an unattainable concept, it is of course an attainable concept”.

Regarding the purpose of these exercises, he pointed out that it responds to clarifying the campaign plans, “we are verifying the effectiveness of operational assistance (...) an exercise that is there to check the level of communications”
