Minister of Ecosocialism presents balance sheet of the Great Mother Earth Mission

The minister of popular power for Ecosocialism, Ricardo Molina presented a balance sheet of the Great Mother Earth Mission, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Chuquisaca Decree.

He explained that an update was made on the situation of the 44 national parks in order to advance their maintenance. He added that the Watershed Operating Committee was formed to define which ones should be intervened and where greater efforts should be made in reforestation.

He also indicated that progress has been made in the creation of communal risk maps, and said that to date, 428 maps have been made by communities, with the objective being 5,336. Molina pointed out that the weather stations have been designed for each commune.

In addition, he highlighted that it has been possible to attack the illegal wildlife trade with more than 66 cases reported and resolved to limit these actions that do a lot of harm to animals.
