Minister of Electric Energy held a meeting with the US chargé d'affaires

This Thursday, May 14, the Minister of Popular Power for Electric Energy (MPPEE), Rolando Alcalá, held a strategic meeting with the chargé d'affaires of the United States Embassy in Caracas, John Barrett, in which, among other subjects, the operation of the National Electric System (SEN) was addressed .

This ministerial body, on its account on the social network Instagram, noted that “these actions, instructed by President (E) @ delcyrodriguezv, aim at #modernizar the electrical infrastructure in order to increase the stability and reliability of #servicio”.

For his part, the US official, John Barrett, in his account on the social network X, commented on the aforementioned meeting at which the issue of the Venezuelan electricity grid was addressed

The meeting took place at the MPPEE facilities, where both delegations reviewed the technical scope necessary to reverse the deterioration of the national energy infrastructure, which is a direct consequence of sanctions, the economic blockade and the coercive measures that prevent the Bolivarian Government from acquiring the relevant equipment.
