Minister of National Trade oversees Cumanacoa recovery in Sucre

To review and evaluate the progress of the Hugo Chávez project, Cumanacoa Renace, in the state of Sucre, the Minister for National Trade, Luis Villegas, paid a visit to hold meetings with popular sectors.

According to a press release, the authorities visited and inspected the destroyed commercial premises that have been progressively and accelerated recovered by State institutions. In addition to the minister, the single authority, Lockiby Belmontes, participated and they toured the area where the recovery work is being carried out for the population, affected last July by the blows of hurricane Beryl.

In this regard, attention was paid to businesses equipped with freezers, refrigerators, computers, loans with a dead period of one year and an additional year without interest.

The recovery plan includes businesses, infrastructure, housing and schools, as well as the restoration of essential services such as drinking water, electricity and food supply.
