Minister of Transport supervised the rehabilitation of the Cota Mil

The Minister of People's Power for Transportation, Jacqueline Fanía, inspected the comprehensive rehabilitation work being carried out on Boyacá Avenue (Cota Mil), as part of the plan to recover the main road arteries in Caracas.

“We are paving the 13 kilometers in one direction and have so far placed more than three thousand tons of asphalt, working the nights until dawn,” Faria said.

In addition, he stressed that drainage and repair works are being carried out, with the intention of making the road ready for the rainy season.

“Our president, Delcy Rodríguez, has asked us for special dedication to roads. That roads must guarantee safety, passability, zero risks, and that includes driver safety,” he said.
