Minister Padrino López: In Venezuela, political forces abandoned the stateless insurrectional path

The Minister of the People's Power of Defense, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, assured that the insurrectional path has been banished in Venezuela and the People of Venezuela “are preparing to open their arms to a new phase.”

“We celebrate the fact that all these forces abandoned that path of insurrection and violence and we all bow to harmony, democracy and peace, this is fundamentally what we see today after observing every minute of the time that has elapsed since the opening of the voting centers,” he stressed.

This was emphasized by Padrino López, when offering a first assessment of the Republic Plan, on the occasion of the 2024 Presidential Election. “I have seen with satisfaction, here we, from the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, have seen with satisfaction how the stateless insurrectional path has been abandoned,” he said.

In this regard, he indicated that “today we have come together with an iron will of political organizations, candidates and political actors, with success.”

Padrino López, who is also the sectoral vice-president of Sovereignty, Security and Peace, said that “we thank God that this insurrectional path, through which he turned a good part of some political factions of the Venezuelan opposition and that they did so much harm to the People, ignoring the institutions, the President of the Republic, placing a disastrous interim supported by imperialism and its allied powers, simply enough of that.”
